Community Organisation Distributes ₦2 Million Worth of Free Drugs in Funtua

The Musa Adamu Network for Gwagware Community Organisation has distributed drugs and medical supplies valued at ₦2 million to vulnerable residents of Funtua Local Government Area in Katsina State.
Speaking during the distribution ceremony, the Chairman of the organisation, Comrade Mannir Mohammed Sulaiman, said the drugs were procured to treat various ailments and were provided free of charge to those in need.
He explained that the initiative is aimed at improving public welfare and strengthening confidence in the Dr. Dikko Umar Radda-led administration. Comrade Sulaiman commended the Katsina State Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Musa Adamu (Funtua), for his continuous support and dedication to healthcare delivery in the area.
In his remarks, the Chairman of Funtua Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdulmutalib Jibril Goya, expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and beneficial to the people. He assured that the local government would continue to support the organisation in achieving its humanitarian objectives.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of drugs to vulnerable beneficiaries.
Comrade Sulaiman also disclosed that the organisation plans to provide additional health-related interventions, including medical support and free circumcision for children in Funtua and Dandume Local Government Areas.
He reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to sustaining similar initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the people.
